Nagpur is the largest city in central India (2001 Census) and second capital of the state of Maharashtra. It has a population of 4.6 million and it is the 13th largest urban conglomeration in India in 2001 (2001 Census).

In 2006 nagpur real estate market saw uneven appreciation in land prices. An average prices appreciated by35% apprx. In 2005, the rate of appreciation was bit low 31%.
